Basic Information
Anatomy
A typical dracolisk grows up to 15 feet long and weighs around 3,000 pounds and usually dark, six-legged creatures with a unique blend of draconic and basilisk features. While their appearance varies depending on the dragon species that parented them, they are a robust, dragon-like body with scales that shimmer in hues inherited from their draconic parent. The underside of their bodies often features a paler shade.
Their pale green eyes sparkle faintly with draconic color. These eyes hold the petrifying power of their basilisk heritage, making direct eye contact potentially fatal. They also have horns which are typically short, curved rhino-like horn juts from their nose and dragon-like wings that match their sclare color but fade to darker shades at the tips.

Biological Traits
Some dracolisks are immune to acid, paralysis, and sleep effects, depending on their lineage and have tough draconic scale.
Ecology and Habitats
The environment of a dracolisk is influenced by the heritage of its dragon parent:
- Black Dracolisks: Found in warm marshes, deserts, and underground lairs.
- Red Dracolisks: Prefer warm mountains and volcanic regions.
- Green Dracolisks: Reside in temperate forests or hidden underground groves.
- Blue Dracolisks: Inhabit warm hills and mountainous terrain.
- White Dracolisks: Thrive in cold deserts, icy mountains, or snowy caverns.
Behaviour
Dracolisks are solitary and predatory, relying on stealth and cunning to ambush their prey. They are known to lie in wait, concealed by their natural surroundings, until the opportune moment to strike. While not as intelligent as their draconic ancestors, dracolisks are significantly smarter than greater basilisks, enabling them to use their environment to their advantage.
Dracolisks are territorial and aggressive, particularly during mating seasons or when protecting their lairs. They are apex predators, preying on a variety of creatures, from livestock to humanoids.
Civilization and Culture
History
The Dracolisks, were created by sorcerers of Old Ansko Empire in order to spread chaos in the lands of the Menedynn Empire. Following the success, they 'distributed' those to other places aswell.
