The Tetrakis Tree
The Tetrakis is native to Pan Orda but it can be found on other continents. On Mindor and Koth, they are cultivated and farmed, while hey grow wild in Kentogen and Haelos. The trees thrive in areas of elemental power.
This tree is made of four trunks with leaves that change colors with the seasons and never shed. Tetrakis trees take on strong elemental properties opposite of the current seasonal affinity. The Tetrakis has an affinity for all four elements, but only manifests a single elemental affinity at a time.
- In the winter, Tetrakis wood is immune to damaging fires and may burn without being consumed for the entire season.
- In the spring , Tetrakis wood petrifies, making it impervious to harm and making it’s leaves into sharp weapons.
- In the summer, Tetrakis wood exudes water where it rains beneath the canopy and can often be found in a small pond that it generates.
- In the fall, Tetrakis wood generates an electrical charge when touched. The tree will attract storms and lightning.
Properly harvested Tetrakis wood is able to hold one of the properties it had at the time.
