Faun

Those of Faun blood bear several distinct markings of their fomorian ancestry, horns, pointed ears and a bipedal animalistic lower body. Some possess even more animalistic traits such as teeth, noses, and snouts. Contrary to widespread belief, faun come in all sexes.
There are three clans of the faun, the Ibrix, the Argalo and the Thorro.

• The Ibrix have spear-like horns and originally hail from the mountainous regions of Otherworld.
• The Argalo have curved ram-like horns and originally hail from the broken plains of Otherworld.
• The Thorro have short, pointed horns and long ago made their way to the lands of the Sidhe where the animal characteristics in their appearance began to recede.

Faun are called to indulge in excess and wild abandon, embracing life and the now. They tend to speak their minds and act impulsively, calling these acts their Grinning, the celebration of their true self as they exist right then. They live in the present, the moment of life. Embracing the grinning makes faun unapologetic, though this does not mean they lack empathy or concern. Rather, fauns seek to bring the others into their revelry, helping them embrace life, laughter, and love.
The Revelry is the way that faun celebrate life. Some faun use music, some use poetry, others use songs, still others dance with or without music. Revelries are generally shared among families and communities becoming the center of life for these fae.
