You might want to consider the journey of your character in the world. This can be done through adding, removing, or changing various Aspects of your character. Imagine that your character begins with the following Aspects:
- High Concept: Typhonesti Scout
- Trouble: Dark Clouds surround me.
- Faction: Wing Runner (Bandit)
She has been plagued by nightmares and when she uses her Timeless Skill, she only sees herself in darkness, fighting for her life. Every past, every future, every otherself draws her to this. As such, she dreads using her skill but does so when the need is great. In play, she has a falling out with her fellow Runners and becomes an outcast eventually finding a new home working as a Venator of the Imperial Guild of Foresters, hunting the deadly creatures plaguing the Thirst.
- Faction: Venator of the Imperial Guild of Foresters
After some time, she decides that she is no longer a Scout, that role no longer fits what she does. She is not on lookout or running point for a group of raiders. She fully embraces her role as a Venator and changes her aspect to Huntress.
- High Concept: Typhonesti Huntress
A particularly grueling hunt takes her into the Crawling Clouds of the Thirst where she recognizes the places of her Timeless Skill. She must now find out how the Crawling Clouds are the Dark Clouds that plague her or if there is something else. She comes in conflict with a Troll of Night who takes a village dear to her and adds another Aspect realizing that this creature is her nemesis. She takes the name that the troll used to mock her- “What are you elfling? You see yourself the Bright Storm when you are but the shadow of a breeze to me.”
- Open Aspect: The Bright Storm
Later, she rescues her former band of runners from the Troll of Night and decides to leave the guild and return to them, becoming their leader as they turn their skills to against the creatures of the Crawling Clouds and the corrupt Merchants of the Thirst that allied themselves her enemies.
- Faction: Cloud Racer (Robber Baron)
If she breaks the hold of the Dark Cloud, then she might change her Trouble as well.
