Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Broad shoulders, muscular arms, chest and legs; much like a body builder and well endowed member of his species.

Facial Features

He has blond, shoulder length hair which flows about his face like a calm river in the summer. He wears a goatee with an oval shaped face, and a nearly constant smirk graces his lips and eyes. This man looks like he is having fun just sitting there doing nothing, conveying confidence along with a carefree and living life to its fullest attitude.

Apparel & Accessories

He wears the outfit of a Living Weapon of Traum'sae - a lightweight cloth outfit which allows for easy, free movement one would expect on an athletic looking person as Gaston. Its primarily a princely pink with the collar, cuffs at wrists, belt and the hems of his legs in a dark, jungle green. Upon is feet are sturdy looking yet lightweight boots of the same coloring.   In one hand, or attached to his belt, one would find a rather beautiful looking doll. One you might find accompanying a child instead of a man of such appearance and stance.

Personal history

He was born the second child (technically 3rd, as his twin sister Edwina was born before he) to a Duke and Duchess on Drowsae. His parents always wanted him to become a Paladin of Traum’sae, as they seemed to have the hope their son may be the reincarnated Champion of Traum’sae whom the Goddess has been awaiting for during her long slumber. However, Gaston had other plans. He didn’t care for his families’ wealth nor status; especially as he figured it was all his eldest sister’s (Gertrude’s) responsibility and would all go to her. He wanted to follow the Monks of Traum’sae and be a living weapon; training to be at one with the world Traum’sae had created for her people, respecting that gift and enjoying the feasts and hunts she encouraged her people take part in as part of their worship of her. Gertrude encouraged Gaston to follow his passion, as she was her favorite sibling and wanted the best for him. Although she does have plans to marry him off for her own purposes; she figured he would come back to her and the family eventually as he wasn’t too bright and never seemed to follow any one interest long enough. Gaston is out to prove her wrong and live his own life. Although he did begin training as a paladin in his early teens, it was only a week into the training that he left and went in search of The Order of Traum’sae Living Weapons. He has spent nearly 10 years under the training of a sect of living weapons who focus on using an Effigy of Traum’sae; an eldimagus constructed of materials from Traum’sae and sometimes with magical materials from other aspects. The Effigy serves as the focal point of their stances and maneuvers, many of which resemble dances performed at parties and festivals in honor and worship of Traum’sae while also being used in ways to instill fear in enemies, distract foes, and wage more of a psychological war against their foes. Typically these Effigies are reserved for the most senior, trained and elite living weapons. Training for the younger living weapons is done with non-magical effigies, although as they gain more experience and mastery they do get experience with an eldimagus.   The Master whom Gaston studies under is one of the oldest and powerful living weapons in The Order of Traum’sae. He is only known as The Master and no one living seems know him any other way; it's often said he is the oldest Traumzian alive outside of the “Queen”. He is often found in a chair, sitting or lying on the ground, or in any number of postures where he appears to be asleep and inattentive; however, nothing seems to slip past him. There have been any number of young students and even older living weapons who’ve made the mistake of saying and doing something around him, making the assumption he could not hear nor see what was going on only to later find out he did. What usually follows is not always pretty.   Gaston has only recently gained the first level of the Order, at which point he had his first dream quest. In that dream quest, he saw a specific Effigy of Traum’sae which The Master had upon a shelf in his room, and the Doll is telling him to take her with him. He also saw that his twin sister, Edwina, had come to harm and would require protection on an upcoming journey she is about to undertake. He sees that she will be at Drifter’s Rock soon, has an unclear idea of the exact date but knows it will happen soon. Gaston ponders over this dream for several days and eventually decides it must have been Traum’sae speaking to him; thus he speaks with The Master about his dream and its meaning. As stories say, it does seem nothing is missed by The Master. He informs Gaston he is fully aware of the Dream and the Effigy of Traum’sae was speaking to him. He knows of his twin sister’s peril, even trying to clue Gaston into the fact that it too will be part of his journey. As Gaston is a bit clueless, his only focus is protecting his sister (Over Protective Brother flaw).pon being gifted the Effigy of Traum’sae, he rushes back home to acquire transport to Drifter’s Rock.   Apples are one of the many industries his family is engaged in as part of their fortune and status. After leaving the Monastery with the Effigy of Traum’sae in tow, he heads to his families’ home where he speaks with Gertrude and they spend several days catching up on the last 10 years. Although she is reluctant to let him go, she sees this as an opportunity to retrieve Edwina, bring her home and marry her off. Gertrude makes Gaston promise to bring his twin sister home at all costs, thus playing into his flaw (Over Protective Brother), and secures himself a berth on a ship loaded with a shipment of apples headed for Drifter’s Rock. To him, this is another confirmation of his dream and cements in his mind that this is what he must do. Thus we find Gaston arriving upon Drifter’s Rock along with a shipment of apples in search of his sister.
