The Helm of Stars is an ancient helmet said to have belonged to Myldala herself. It is an artifact from well before the God War, and yet has survived throughout the aeons, changing from hand to hand. Its original purpose is as of the current day unknown, though there have been many guesses.

History

There are a few conflicting ideas as to how the Helm of Stars came into existence. The two most popular are that it was created intentionally by the goddess, and that it was created as an aspect of her when she ascended.

Account 1

A war was brewing. The other gods couldn't see it yet, but Myldala knew. Disaster was on the brink of annihilating all of them - she had to do something. She turned to her most faithful, those who were most devout. She creafted a mighty helm, a crown of stars and galaxies to provide them the power to prevent this oncoming storm.

Account 2

Myldala was a warrior, a fighter. She was a mage, yes, but she was much more than that. Her armour was the symbol of her strength, her freedom, her power. This armour was what she wore during her ascension, and the armour was taken into godhood with her. Her helmet, in particular, grew to encompass the weight of a million galaxies.

While these are the most popular accounts, this topic is heavily disputed in academic circles and even banned at some conferences due to the arguments it will inevitably cause. There are a few less common accounts as well, some of which are strong arguments, while others have been debunked.

I love the note that discussion is banned at some academic conferences. Reminds me of Poe. XD
