The East-Noram Megacity Hive Complex is one of the most isolated, being contained to the south by the Scholastia Psykana, to the east by the Hall of Judgement, to the west by vast radioactive wastelands, its hive spires reaching high into the sky, and anchored deep into rock that had been ancient before the coming of the emperor.
With a population of some six-hundred-and-fifty million individuals, the Hive-towers are not the largest on Terra, but neither are they insignificant, and the manufactories herein supply foodstuffs, base metals and packaging materials, as well as maintanance facilities for orbital landers and atmospheric flyers.
The facility also supports Springfield Noram Progena, one of the main facilities of the Schola Progenium on Terra, but that facility is focused on processing 'imports', as far as the hive is concern. Rarely are the locals allowed to contribute their children to the facility, but it does happen, especially since the Imperial Guard recognizes two regiments, the 8745th Montral Fusilliers "Terra" and the Van Doos Royal Canadic Regiment as having been founded on the land claimed by the historical footprint of the hives.
In terms of discipline, the locals are docile, compared to other terrans, finding unity and cooperation natural, a holdover of more ancient times, and reflected in local mores, often spilling over into political debates into hive elections and the like. However, every ten or so cycles, the hive masters find their investment in local proctors for security rewarded, as the locals unexplainably decide to riot, demanding some political end be met.
