Several consecutive warm years accelerate the glacial melt, causing the Dynamo River to burst its banks. This destroys the greatest part of the original settlement in the area, and forces rebuilding efforts onto the local Skylands. Out of the rebuilding, several notable figures are distinguished for their leadership and philanthropy. These 'alderfolk' gain considerable influence and prestige during this time. This also draws the community closer together, establishing the Dynamine identity.
