West Mountain Company
The West Mountain Company (WMC, Halsech Dwarfish: ᛆᚦᛐᚢᚱ ᚢᚱᚿᚴᚭᚱ ᚠᛁᚱᛐᛁᚱᛌᚴᛆ)(1) is a mercantile corporation based in Stonegate, Bael Bradach. Incorporated in IR 970 by human siblings Daris and Lisra Hucrele as an expedition organizer and outfitter, by 980 WMC began manufacturing its own brand of high-quality expedition gear for sale exclusively to their members. This was not as easy as it reads.
The unflinching requirements of Clan Quality Standards Law require field-tested proof of claim. This required WMC not only to research, but to sponsor and outfit expeditions of its own, and this it did with aplomb. In all of their years working to make other adventurers rich with loot, the West Mountain Company had saved some of the choicest sites for themselves in anticipation of this growth. Their successes in these endeavours in the years since have only compounded their mercantile profits, and have allowed the West Mountain Company to become the leading source for exploration and adventure gear and premiere employer of adventurers in all of Bael Bradach.
