Mystery surrounds Rowen Ioz. He has a past that connects him to Hannibal Seward and a long list of heroics yet he speaks very briefly about those days. He appears healthy, handsome and charming yet often he is reclusive and appears to suffer from a reoccurring illness. He is often at the center of a number of illegal enterprises yet his reputation in Ghal Pelor remains unmarred by scandal.
The common public, if they know his name at all, know him as the owner of a luxurious gambling house, spa and bordello. Others who operate on the fringes of society know that Rowen is a source for hard to come by information and profitable opportunities. He is known to be a very dangerous man yet one that is also fiercely loyal to the people he employes.
