When time is of the essence, you cannot let yourself be slowed down by some pesky laws of the universe, or heaven's forbid, fatigue of you or your horse. The Saddle of Speed feels so light as if it was weaved out of cobwebs and weights as much. Interestingly it is also extremely comfortable and knights speak of as they were suspended on a cloud and not sitting on a horse galloping through the country side like a ghost was chasing them. It seems that the structure and echantement woven through the structure makes it more comfortable for the horse as well and therefore makes travel a lot faster affair.
