Casting Runes

Carved into bones, stones, small pieces of wood or bark and carried in cloth pouches that can expand and serve as a base for divination. While runes on their own are mostly used by those who can read and write to convey basic informations through speach, messages and books - reading and language on its own is still by many considered to be a sort of magic on its own. Each letter has a special meaning and can be therefore used for all sorts of fortunetelling even by those who do not like to use the alphabet the way it was probably intended.
