House Fenn is a noble house from the north. They are crannogmen who live in the Neck.
According to semi-canon sources, House Fenn blazons their arms with three black water lilies, on pale violet. Their words are "Be wary the way"
Culture
Traits
Like most crannogmen the Fenns tend to be short and slim with deep green or hazel eyes, pale skin and hair ranging from muddy brown to black.
They are known to be fearless but not reckless.
Customs
The Fenns tend to carry themselves in an aloof manner, speaking softly, and making little of their presence if they allow it to be noted at all.
For reasons unknown, perhaps it's abundance in the bog's of the neck, the crannogmen tend to wear armor of bronze and clad themselves in green likely as a form of camoflague.

History
Origins
The Fenns are said to descend from First Men and have been sworn to house Reed and Stark since before recorded history. They have been led by house Reed since the defeat of the Marsh Kings by house Starks.
The last known Fenn to leave the neck before Willem Fenn married Katja Forrester was Lord Quaid Fenn who swore fealty for his people to Torrhen Stark when he ascended as the King of Winter before Aegon's Conquest.
Targaryen Dynasty
Aegon's Conquest
The Fenns and their direct overlord's in house Reed were notably absent from the host that Stark took south to face Aegon Targaryen however their fealty has been assured by house Stark to the Targaryen kings.
Recent Events
Seat and Holdings
Little is known about the lands held by house Fenn, their seat of Westwatch is known to be cold and imposing built from dark stone of an unknown origin covered in hundreds, perhaps thousands of years of growth and travelers who seek it have been known to easily pass the keep by leading to claims that it, much like Greywater Watch is a 'floating' castle, though this notion has been disabused by Maesters and skilled navigators with a keen eye. Those seeking the keep find a lucrative service of guides North and South of the neck who will lead people to (some of) the Crannogmen for a price..
The bogs around Westwatch make it impossible to assault by the ground in any tangible way. If the Fenns have people who live within their lands they are likely nomadic, or as reclusive as the Fenns themselves.
