Culture

Traits

With First Men ancestry the Condons have brown hair and fair skin with eyes of varying colors from pale grays and blues to dark greens and browns.

Customs

Though the Condons have historically prayed to the Old Gods, their proximity to White Harbor has lead them to have interest in the Faith of the Seven and many Condons have converted to the Faith of the Seven for oppourtunuties as Knights, roles in the Manderly court or purely for interest in what the Faith has to offer.

History

Origins

An old house in the North the first Condon's are unknown however they have roots in the lands around Barrowton. House Condon has ruled the point of the White Knife atleast as long as house Manderly has ruled White Harbor. Old Condon banners in the cellars of Eagle's Point bear the red eagle sans trident which leads many to believe it is in honor of house Manderly and the close ties the Condon's have to them.   Condon's have rallied for house Stark to fight against house Bolton numerous times and count Bolton banners, cloaks and shields among their historical treasures, though it is unclear if this is only during rebellions by house Bolton or if this includes during the age of the Red Kings.

Aegon's Conquest

House Condon was among those who bent the knee with Torrhen Stark to Aegon the Conqueror.

Seat and Holdings

Eagle's Point or simply The Point is the seat of House Condon in the north. It is located on the split or "point" of the White Knife. Because of the closeness of their castles, the Condons often visit White Harbor as they are roughly a days sail away on a pleasure craft, half a day on a longship.   The castle itself predates the Condon's and is assumed to have been one of many fortresses established by Kings of Winter to repel the Andal Invasion.
