Founded in Cybelle 1870 in Edison the Institute of the Metaphysical & Paranormal (I.M.P) it is a government funded organization that aims to investigate, collect, analyze, and secure the emerging from the past technologies and occurences of out of the ordinary phenomena in order to act as a intelligence gathering and advisor to other governmental bodies in regards to this very little, to not at all understood branch of fringe technology and sciences.
The organization headquarters in Terrorbush Island occupying a recently occupied and refurbished Kelean Mandate secret operations base.
The Agency is led by Dr. Effie "Ephigenia" Gardiner an eminent doctor known for the discovery of the cure to Miner's Lung, Lucinda Ned Brewer a Radiant Shield mid-ranking officer and Owen Steven McManaman a rising Pipecross quarterback with very strong ties to the charitable organization known as the Lantern Society.
The operations of the organization is supported by a team of specialists that carry out missions and conduct research in order to uncover the mysteries surrounding Alchemy, Bioengineering, Artifice and other phenomena.

The base is guarded by a squad of 4 dispatched Eldwell Navy marines led by Owen Steven McManaman with their focus on protecting the personnel and the vault of the headquarters as well as providing firepower support, if the situation arises.
Transportation
Upon the founding of the organization, IMP was provided by a Tesla Aeronautics Quadcopter transport named the impetuous. Optimized for carrying personnel and material across long distances. The ship is able to sleep comfortably 6 in cabins and another 6 in bunks.
