Lidust

You found some forgotten papers, filled with notes about Shattered. If you are interested in these, you should ask Catoblepon by sending a message to them, either as comments in these papers or in their tavern. By seeing interest in these, they will be more excited to expand them and could make them jump in front their priority list.

Lidust is a special dust that comes off The Creator and the Giants. It is believed it is what gives life to Giants and that is created by The Creator. Rain-time is when its easier to see, as it surrounds the The Creator. There have been attempts to catch some of it, to learn about it; most cases have resulted in nothing being caught (it disappeared when attempted to get caught) but some cases ended up with this dust becoming liquid and quickly evaporated.
