Totems

Connected to the spellcasting of Primal Magic, Totems are often thought of as focuses of power - though in practice they are often held as charms or keepsakes that signify individuals or ideas. Totems are a core practice of shamans in Orc traditions and culture, often used by Orcs and Half-Orcs to divine omens or bring good fortune to their pursuits and travels. Totems like this are often hand-crafted from a natural material such as bone, wood, or stone and constantly worn.
The most extreme applications of Totems can be found in the pursuits of Druids and Barbarians who are able to use them as a focus for their Primal Magic. There are some who also claim to have found connection between Totems and the spirits of the dead and the practice of spiritual magics.
