Vold
A popular messenger service used in Cantari where users input messages which are delivered by text through 2D or 3D avatars. A Cantari ID card is needed to create an account, which means that while Vold is available outside of Cantari it is exclusive. Some Cantari will sell their own identity on the black market to make ends meet which Cantarians and non-Cantarians could buy to create a Vold account. Diplomats and envoys on missions to Cantari are often banned by their own countries from installing Vold onto their gear. Vold and similar services exclusive to Cantari can also act as payment services, allowing users to top up their account and shop in malls, restaurants and use travel services. Visitors to Cantari who do not use Vold or similar messaging services are therefore at an disadvantage of convenience.
