Worldsmith
Worldsmith,
The page is your anvil
Your pen the hammer
Strike your words into this billet
Draw out the shape of this world
Quench it in the oil of reality
Heat it in the fires of your mind
And strike
Laws and lore
Again
Flora and fauna
Again
People and places
Again
Hone your tongue
Until it is sharp
If the pen is mightier than the sword
Then the blade forged from the pen
Is mightiest of all
Again
Again
Again
Hold your hammer high
And light up the forge
The page is your anvil
Your pen the hammer
Strike your words into this billet
Draw out the shape of this world
Quench it in the oil of reality
Heat it in the fires of your mind
And strike
Laws and lore
Again
Flora and fauna
Again
People and places
Again
Hone your tongue
Until it is sharp
If the pen is mightier than the sword
Then the blade forged from the pen
Is mightiest of all
Again
Again
Again
Hold your hammer high
And light up the forge
Thank you, World Anvil, for an incredible 6 years. Finances are tight and I cannot pay for my membership any longer. I don't really have much reason to use these tools these days, either, even if I could afford to keep going. As a result, I will not be able to write new articles here— but I will remain to read and support those who can. I'd love if you could follow along to see what I do in the future. If you'd like, subscribe to my newsletter, follow my socials-- and keep an eye on my website. I am building a new subdomain to host my future writing and worldbuilding, which will be done at some point in the new year. I will not stop writing or worldbuilding, this is only a change in venue. In the meantime, I plan to continue posting my weekly progress reports on my author page here, as long as I'm able. Thank you to everyone who supported me these past few years. This place changed my life.
