Meartite

Description:

With crystals less brittle than the more commonly found apertrite, meartite also forms in larger clusters. For crystal processing purposes, meartite clusters can more easily be separated into distinct crystal units. This is in contrast to apertrite, which is so brittle that crystal processing is barely worth the failure rate.   Meartite clusters are more transparent on the surface than apertrite, but murky veins are often just barely visible, deeper within the crystal lattice structure. The clusters are equally likely to be missing one or two points as they are to have all three, perfectly formed. Clusters also form in many different festerfont varieties, but never in the Outskirts layer of any one.    Uses:
  • Some advanced magics can only be stored in Meartite vessels.
  • Meartite is an economical energy storage material with a significantly lower loss-ratio compared to Apertrite.
