Infoboard

Information Boards, or inforboards, are magitech artifects of unknown origin and construction. At least, most do not know the origin of these powerful devices, nor do they understand just how powerful they are.
Each board is linked to a control device, where a technician can program the network to display inputted data, though it isn't an exact process. This is because it is secondhand sourcetech, the product of sourcetech manufacturing and linked to the sourcetech ability of a Traveller.
All information boards use a similar technology and aesthetic. Shroud boards are all installed by the same group, based out of the capital. Only this group seems to know many of the capabilities of the technology, but they don’t seem to teach it to the people they install it for.
Boards are black plates, usually fixed to walls. They are connected to a control terminal with thick black cables. White text and other symbols can be displayed on these plates, programmed in one of two ways. A mage Synergist can configure the board, or they can be connected to controls like a keyboard.

Functionality:

Settings control whether the infoboards are intractable or not, but advanced settings usually only controllable by the group that installed the boards.
