This is a highly dense, deep purple leylode. Often hard to spot, curos is made even more difficult to find simply because people don't actually go looking for it.
It appears in the Core layer of some festerfonts, and it has been connected to the appearance of Invasion configuration festerfonts. Curos is the blightsource that is generated when such a festerfont is close to reaching peak saturation. For this reason, the Guild tries to buy up the material blightsource wherever it is found. They purchase it at high price on the condition the seller provide details on where it came from.
This is all despite the fact that the rare leylode has no apparent uses yet. Some researchers are exploring curos's use as a catalyst in magic, but there have been no successes to date.
Uses:
Right now, there are no known uses for curos. The Guild only cares about it because it is an indicator of larger festerfont behavior.
Unlike native residents of the world, Caim’s powers draw from sourcetech. They feed on the orchestrator energy byproduct curos to enhance their abilities. Interestingly enough, it is his abilities that draw most from Pulse and the least from him (eg. Legion) that benefit most from curos.
