Description:

A blightbloom is a flowering plant that is produced and sustained by the Festerfont. They share a strange property with the festerfonts themselves, very slowly drawing energy from some unknown source. Scientists are fervently studying how this energy might be harvested, though there have been no successful attempts.
These blightflora are commonly compared to flourishflora, though they aren't very alike at all. Unlike flourishflora, a blightbloom requires no vira to sustain itself, and generates no vira. Instead, like all blightsources, they appear to be a physical manifestation of leaked blight energy. In turn, warped blight energy is all a blightbloom provides.
