Blightbane Information Desk

The information desk is where a number of Guild Clerks are continuously stationed to meet the needs of the Seekers that approach them.
Map: There is always a large map of the region near the desk, usually above it.
Contract Redemption: There is a portion of the desk that is reserved for the many Seekers that need to register their completed Contracts. In the past, records weren’t kept. Some Guild keep written records, but Maliscade is a newer city, and its Guild Headquarters is equipped with a database. However, these databases aren’t often synchronized with the central record.
Automated Contract Redemption: Over the course of the story, technology is developed by the Guild Research Division working in concert with Guild partners that allows Seekers to scan a badge and automatically receive compensation for their work. It frees up Guild personnel for other tasks. Some see this as concerning, as jobs are being replaced by technology. Mille’s personal opinion about this is that the Guild now needs to invest fewer resources to get the same benefit. It can then invest those resources on more effectively combating the Blight.
