Description:
Apertrite crystals form in small clusters, and they are extremely brittle. Harvesting one is a slow, careful process, or the prize is rendered unusable. These clusters are cloudy white, indicating that it is a lesser choice for storage and retrieval purposes. What is more, these clusters are often malformed, with at least one of the three points underdeveloped or absent entirely.
Clusters of apertrite are found all throughout some festerfonts, in any layer. There they grow, underground, in naturally occurring tunnels and cave systems. Fighting in cramped spaces isn't ideal, and defending seekers often damage the crystals. Regardless, apertrite harvests remain a lucrative endeavor.
Uses:
Spells can be stored for later use, consuming the crystals in the process.
