Vordrain is a small farming village at the edge of the
Stonevale Mountain Range. While its position is only on the northern border of the
Qil'Soran Empire, some consider it to be the fringes and the last post before you pass into the
Aonis Wilds.

The Lord and Lady tend to a large sect of farmland and house several farm workers from throughout the empire.
- The Twin Stones, named for the Two Stones of the city that are kept within their walls, is a temple dedicated to Kyndra, The Fated One. - The Venerable Mage is a small store owned by Naugan "Harold" Skyhand. It normally stores a few magical trinkets, ranging from common magical equipment to the ocassional larger item. Naugan still works alongside the empire as an enchanter, however, not as much as they used to.
Society
The villagers of Vodrain mostly live a fairly relaxed life, most of the people within the village borders have their needs cared for by their own work. Most of the villagers grow enough agriculture to give themselves food throughout the year, especially with the growth of the
Verdan Fruit which grows throughout the year, rather than just in a particular season.
Some of the villagers are older adventurers who have settled down and lost their knack for taking part in extreme battles. Many of the retired soldiers tell of various conflicts over well made ale within either of the two taverns, comparing scars and war wounds from the battles of the past. While those who once practiced arts of the arcane have learned that their small magical talents can be kept at work in tending the gardens that most villagers upkeep.
Demographics
There are several major peoples who live within the village, each of them having a prominent role within the base society. The base demographic of the village is:
- 75% Human
- 11% Grassfolk
- 10% Gnome
- 4% Other Origins
Many of the human and grassfolk peoples originate from the first settlers who head west from Qil'Sora, many of whom settled in Vordrain for its placement near the large
Erelvis Lake. A selection of Gnomes from the Stonevale Mountain Range, an ancient temple in the height of the mountains being destroyed. Several other people have travelled to the village in an aim to escape from cursed lives, travel for a more humbler life or to settle down after many years of adventure.
