The Seeker is a quasi-deity of trickery, love, and beauty worshiped across the realms. Many are aware of the deity and his forms but not of the true nature of them.
Description
Appearance
Unlike many deities who are trapped beyond the Tynau, The Seeker is able to visit his followers in person, choosing the form that he takes, always with some connection to the blue coloration of his form. The most common form that he takes is that of a ethereal blue cloak that seems to float through the wind at all times.
Personality
When meeting with his followers, The Seeker has often been described as calm and collected, but speaking in constant riddles. His voice is described as ethereal and focused. Those who have been considered as clerics under The Seeker have found that he can be somewhat neurotic and anxious, but immediately snap to charming and overwhelming.
Symbol
While there is considered to be one primary symbol for The Seeker, that of a blue eye framed by an octagon, there have been several different variants created by different followings of him. In the Ossalimarian Empire, where the worship of non-approved deities is forbidden, The Seeker's symbol is similar to that of Yldrivon, a single heart pierced by an arrow, with minor differences in coloration resembling the worship of specifcally The Seeker.
History
Much of the history of The Seeker is unknown to the majority of their followers, their history and stories surrounding them have been contested by several religious scholars.
Very few people know the true origin of The Seeker, but those who know are aware that Eres is a spirit from the Dream plane. From the ancient realm, Eres was summoned beyond the realm, however, the nature of how they crossed from one realm to the other is unknown. All that is known is that Eres spoke to a very limited number of people who started to believe that Eres was a strange creature known as The Seeker, that was beautiful and could guide them into delivering tricks onto the people of the realm.
Known Worshipers
There are very few known worshippers of The Seeker, however there is a small and consistent collection that have garnered enough belief in The Seeker to provide an unknown amount of power in the mortal realm for the dream spirit. The known worshipers are:
- Senator Lavrix Bourne - A member of the Aonis Quarum.
- Onyx Har Rovlyne - Onyx stationed near the Ankh'eal Archive.
- Vary Wallstone - A fiendling from the city of Qil'Sora.
