Lorena Range

Standing on the top of a mountain is a strange feeling. There is a hum that comes from the top of the mountain at all times. Its a unique feeling that I have never seen in the rest of my journeys.

The Lorena Range is the name for the mountain range that divides the Ossaman Tribes from the rest of Ossalimar. The range has strong links to the history of the continent and are said to be home to an ancient creature.

Description

The range bisects the Daunka Shore from the lands of the Ossaman Tribes. The range was once larger, however as a result of The Shatter and the destruction of northern Ossalimar during the course of its events. Its commonly believed that some of the mountains that appear in Tokevis were once part of the Lorena Range until Tokevis was seperated from the rest of Ossalimar.
Currently there is only one known pass through the entirity of the range. The Varya Pass has an entrance just off the eastern coast of the Daunka Shore, It allows for access between the Daunka Province and the Ossaman Tribes. The pass was recently given a road that connected Verin Kai and Qi Gnorr which has opened a large amount of cultural connection and trade between the two countries.

Torenva Forest

In the centre of the range is the Torenva Forest. Its made of a unique type of tree that seems to be filled with a thick sap. The wood of the tree can also be used to increase the magical potential within any item crafted using the wood.

Marina Garden

A valley in the middle of the Lorena Range is called the Marina Garden and is a holy site dedicated to Mandra. This Garden thrives a large variety of unique and distinct flora that can only be found within the Garden. The valley is said to be tended by a ranger that follows Mandra and is compeltely blind.

Ovena Shelf

Drothgora are a unique type of creature. They have been found only in Vilura and in Ossalimar. Most Ossalimarian Drothgora come from the Ovena Shelf. This mountain based settlement isn't a full village but is instead a breeding ground for the Drothgora before a herd travels off into the world.

Lor Toa Yor

Rather than along the mountain range, Lor Toa Yor is far underneath the surface. It is a citadel dedicated to the survival and presenvation of Fire Giants. Very few have managed to visit Lor Toa Yor, but reports indicate a large steel fortress that seems to resemble some form of large grand temple.
