The Grak'Knorr (Demonic for Book of Blood) is a religious text that is highly important for the Bloodband. The book was claimed to have been given to Sharin Whitemane by Vazris, Prince of Demons in a dream, which he then transcribed.

Description

Most of the Grak'Knorr is written in Demonic and lists both parables and rules for those who are linked to the . However, many of these tenets seem closely related to the work of the Bloodband. The many parables have been altered over the course of many years to include new ones from tales of failed apostles and great missionaries to the cause of their Demonic masters.
Whenever it is transcribed, the Grak'Knorr is typically written in Demonic in a small book that is easy to carry, but also easy to conceal. However, there are at least two known versions written in the common tongue. Each of these are bound tomes that are used to teach new inductees how to speak Demonic by translating the words on the opposite side of each page.

History

During the founding of the Bloodband, there had been many whispers that indicated a manifesto, a manual for how to act as a member of the Bloodband. By 702 AR, this was made true upon the announcement that the Grak'Knorr was the word of their patrons. A list of ways to act and bring forth their work upon the world. At first, the commanders were given a version of the document, each in small hand-written journals filled with the Demonic tongue, each using these principles to guide the members under the command.
As the Bloodband expanded, the document was transcribed more consistently to allow the many burgeoning branches of the collective to have at least one copy of the text. There has begun a set of rituals of induction where a member of the Bloodband leaves a copy of the Grak'Knorr in the home of a possible inductee. Over the next few nights, it calls to the individual to read it. Once they do, even if they do not understand Demonic, the text itself seems to catch the mind of the individual and bring them to the cause of the Bloodband.
