I grabbed the string, thinking the netting was the same as my plane of existence. I was very wrong. It stung at first, like a bee had become aggrivated all across my palm. I realised quickly I couldn't remove the substance from my hand, my poor guide spent several minutes trying to help me remove it. I won't make that mistake again. — Archani Conclave traveller to the Fae.
Drallexh Web is a natural substance from the Fae Lands that is commonly used to create netting and traps because of its strength and sticky properties.
Description
When first collected from the spiders of Shiverhollow, the natural material at first looks very thin and fragile. It is then woven so four strands are stuck together, which provides significant tensile strength to the combined strings. It retains this sticky property, making it difficult to remove the string from the skin as a thin layer of acid burns and embeds into the first layers of skin.
The string is a brilliant white color, but on close inspection there are very small barbed thorns on its surface. These thorns are slightly green, creating a small gradient if someone looks closely at the string from white to green.
Aaaah! Do not touch!
