Dragonflight is the traditional journey for the next Shaman of each of the Ossaman Tribes. It is told that each future Shaman must experience the wind of the spirits and see the world to appreciate their own achievements and the tribes problems.
Description
Once in every generation, one member of each of the five tribes embarks on a journey across the world. With the intention of learning enough about to world to provide good wisdom and advice to the future generations of their tribe. Once a Dragonflight is complete the member returns to their tribe, upon which a ceremonial garb and item are gifted to the individual.
As they recieve the item, their body is infused with elemental energy and changed into a more Draconic form that grants them boons based on their tribes founder.
- Covars, founded by Ukrandar – Resistance to radiant damage and dragon's breath based on Platinum Dragon.
- Vykron, founded by Akrona – Resistance to fire damage and dragon's breath based on Gold Dragon.
- Tralvor, founded by Dravla – Resistance to cold damage and dragon's breath based on Silver Dragon.
- Prok'tar, founded by O'ktogo – Resistance to lightning damage and dragon's breath based on Bronze Dragon.
- Ylktar, founded by Qui'mond – Resistance to acid damage and dragon's breath based on Copper Dragon.
Known Dragonflights
There are several known Dragonflights, which have been successful or have ended in disaster.
- Femnor Windswept, Current leader of the Tralvor tribe. Known to have been involved in several major conflicts during the early part of the Age of Restoration.
- Tyurn Fireblood, Currently attempting to complete Dragonflight for the Travlor tribe.
- Olfrik Drakensfire, Attempted to complete Dragonflight for the Vykron tribe and was unsuccessful. Died in the Slycol Desert.
- Lyvral O'trav, Attempted to complete Dragonflight for the Prok'tar tribe and was lost during its completion.
