Aori Su Character in NEW WORLD SAME TRIS | World Anvil

Aori Su

Aori Su is the oldest sister to the very famous and much admired general Su and she is as different as anyone related to him can be. She has a very warm and welcoming personality, she doesn't spare her smiles on anyone and is also pretty famous for being the most lovable and loving of the current noble circles. A stark contrast to her stoic brother, she brings not only attention to their house but also to her bedroom and what fun activities go on within. But it's okay, being a three-time widow and going through tragedies people only read in novels, the general consensus agrees on the fact that she deserves to have some fun too, in her life.   More than that, if you are rich enough, things are no longer scandalous... just a tiny bit excentric. And Aori definitely lives among the richest. A precious little bird, locked up in a golden cage, she is making the most of the things life had dealt her with. She is also famous for writing very spicy poetry.   In the beginning, she was the virtuous wife and the epitome of all of society expects from the head of a household to be. Then came the war and her first husband was slain within the year. As was customary, she married his younger brother, to keep the ties between the Su and Lian family, but unfortunately, wars have the habit of being cruel and she lost her second husband as well. That event marked a shift in her personality and the beginning of her career as a poet. She could no longer send love letters to her husband, yet she continued writing them anyways and sending them over to the front, getting bolder with every stroke of her brush, the subjects of her writings getting more and more explicit. While there were some rumours among the aristocratic circles who questioned her sanity, she won over the hearts of first the common soldiers, then the common wives who were also separated from their loved ones, and slowly but surely, the love of all.
