Henioche Creonide

Henioche is a noble-born, Spartoi-descended girl in the kingdom and city of Thebes. She is a supporting character in Becoming Hercules, first appearing between at age 5.

Family

Henioche is the youngest child of Creon and Eurydike and a member of the Bronze Oikos of Tribe Echion, one of five noble houses descended from Spartoi founders. She is the third-born of three daughters and sixth-born of six children overall.   Henioche adores her five-years-older sister, Pyrrha, and follows her around like a shadow. As a result, she often gets into the thick of any mischief caused by Pyrrha and their brother, Lykomedes.   Henioche’s paternal aunt, Jocasta, is the Queen of Thebes, having married into two successive dynasties. Because Henioche’s connection to the throne is by marriage rather than blood, her family are not considered royalty themselves.

Appearance

Henioche lacks the metallic skin and draconic features of her closest siblings but is still recognizable as a Spartoi descendant from unnaturally green eyes a shade of brown skin that resembles bronze. Her hair is dark brown.

Personality

Henioche clings to Pyrrha and tries to match her boldness and adventurous spirit. She is an enthusiastic child, always happy for an excuse to break into song.

Ancestry

Henioche’s family are descendants of Echion, one of the Spartoi warriors who hatched from dragon’s teeth sown into the sacred field in the Theban uplands. They also descend from Pentheus, the only Spartoi descendant to serve as King of Thebes.
