Belor

Eidolins rarely show the trauma of their deaths, the shock of the moment often too brief or forgotten in the transition to the other side. It is easier to form around the strongest memories of themselves, often how they were once young and whole. There are exceptions, those that died in a gruesome and horrific manner or one whose life was so touched by such horrors that they can only manifest in the afterlife as a mirror of those experiences.

Belor is one such eidolin, his form little more than a bloody and gore spatted skeleton. Many such eidolins are destroyed on sight for it is often the case that they are quick to transition into slaugh or something worse. In his case, it would be the latter.

What few details of his former life he has chosen to share appear mundane and unassuming. A simple farmer with wife and child upon a river. He speaks of no wars, no conflicts, and no malice that would have left him so destroyed. Many take this to mean that Belor has separated himself fully from his past, lacking a true sense of connection to those memories. Of his pain and horror he has told nothing, only demonstrated his understanding in his actions against his foes.

Belor learned to use his horror and feed it as a means of survival, controlling the appearance and substance of his soul to draw in victims and then indulge in their slaughter so that he can harvest their fear. He is certain to gain the attentions of devil and demon alike which would find great use in such a soul.

Belor normally appears as little more than a skeleton with the vast majority of his flesh rotted away. The black veins of his grudges encase his form, which appears to drip with streams of fresh gore.

In battle he will draw up the discarded viscera and bones of his enemies to form his slaughter suit, a grizzly creation that serves no greater purpose than to enhance the fear of those who see him.

Witchlight- Belor manifests strange balls of luminescence that float about under his command. Usually the light mimics a lantern or torch held by some unseen figure. The light has some strange compulsory effect that entrances onlookers into coming closer while losing track of their surroundings. The effect increases the closer an entranced gets to the light with victims seemingly being unaware of anything including damage to themselves.

Brute Manifest- Belor can tear spirit and flesh apart, even as a 'mere' ghost. It is notable that these interactions are always rough physical manipulations lacking in dexterity.

Slaughter suit- Belor can turn corpses into a temporary physical form to better perpetuate a slaughter. This manifestation quickly rots and requires a near constant flow of fresh Vitas so can only be maintained in a combat. His strength seems to go up exponentially while in this suit.

Gore Helm- Belor has a bone and chitin helm shaped like a boar's skull. It acts as a foci for his abilities and serves as a vessel to store extra vitas energy.
