Giant

You can hear their song ring out from the mountains on the fifth of the week. Their drums reverberate like thunder, and their horns make the earth shudder. The giants of Northgard have a long history that can be dated back to at least one thousand years ago. At least that's what the books say. I can confidently say that they have history that stretches to before the five suns.

Appearance

Giants tend to take upon the common appearance that humans would, that is to say they are humanoid. However, Giants will often grow to reach an average height between 8-10 feet tall.

Physique

Giants are... well.. giant. As such, their larger stature gives them a benefit of heightened strengths all across the board in physical wellbeing. Stronger, Faster, Larger, Hardier. They're quite tough. And they have some pretty good cold resistance too. Giants are not actually muscular, contrary to popular belief. Rather, they have a decent layering of pudge and fat in order to help insulate themselves against the elements.

They aren't fat. They just wont look like herculean bodybuilders.

Habitats

Giants are often found in mountainous regions or in cold climates, generally housing themselves inside or nearby caves. Hotter climates and flatter lands are not so great to giants as there are no caves nor temperature controlled areas for them to rest within.

Your best bet to finding giants is to look in the areas of Northgard or the ranges of the Eastern rise on Compandia.

Diet

Giants are Omnivorous. They need a healthy diet and a balanced blend of nutrition. Though they also really love carbohydrates. Like- holy moly. They love carbs.
