Dwarf

Hardy, Durable, Short, and an affinity for the earth. The dwarven gene originates from a human strain that evolved to better suit the conditions of living in places that would otherwise be considerably more dangerous to the mundane human.

Appearance

Dwarves are short and stout. Their hair often being brown, black, or even blonde. Especially thick and capable of naturally filtering out unwanted materials such as liquids, powders, and even dangerous gasses. Similarly, their eye colors are often brown, not leaving much to the imagination of diversity in their peepers.

Physique

Not only has the life expectancy of a dwarf evolved to suit the life of rock, stone, and beer. But their physical and magical capabilities also evolved, now sporting heightened immunities to things that would be poisonous to humans. With access to dwarven magics and earthen-carved glyphs, dwarves are crafts-people with a good taste in minerals and drinks.

Habitats

There are many varieties of dwarves that live in different environments.
Hill Dwarves, Mountain Dwarves, Deep Dwarves, Desert Dwarves. In fact, there are even Moon Dwarves, but we're not allowed to talk about them.

Diet

Dwarves love beer and minerals. There is something about the composition of stuff in minerals that just does them good. That is to say, things like gemstones are quite the delicacy to a dwarf.

Oh? You want to know about diamonds for dwarves? it's like another form of beer to them.

As for anything else, they can consume other food like normal. They just really like rocks.

Legend has it that the dwarves are the ones who have perfected the art of brewing beers, so much so that they've even opted into brewing up non-conventional beers for fun and games. It sounds more like they got bored of normal drinks - Anonymous Jeidit Scribe
