History

In the beginning, there was nothing but desert. The ten ascendants showed up from various worlds and began shaping the world in their own image. Queue lots of fighting, ten thousand years go by, five suns, everything dies.
Ahresi revives the world and the other ascendants return from the dead, majority of their power sealed within their respective trees. Still revered as gods, they now do their own things.
