When the world was young, ages before the first people were created, out of the chaos elemental creatures were born. Those creatures - beatiful and eternal - are roaming the world ever since. They are neither good, nor evil. They don't care about the business of Mortals or other beings. They are the embodiment of elemental magic - raw and unpredictable, but elegant and beatiful.A Phoenix is the embodiment of fire. Raw, ancient elemental magic that gained consciousness. Many people around Lothrea consider them to be creatures of myth and legend, but from time to time, they show up over the course of history. Sometimes they are the bringers of doom, burning down entire countrysides, leaving nothing more than ashes. Othertimes they are a sign of mercy; their light bringing life to barren lands. The unpredictable and chaotic creatures can never be killed. Once they die, their essence is captured into an egg, to be reborn weeks or days later. This egg can not be destroyed, no matter how much force or magic you throw at it. Because of this there is always a fixed amount of Phoenixes in the world.
