The writers guild is known for the many non-religious books they write, they mostly write stories about legends but also letters and other things for people who don't know how to write. Writers often travel all over the land, they do that to find new legends to write. You can also find writers at markets where they sell their services as well as the products. They also regularly aid travellers in their quests, often in return for licences on the stories the adventurers bring back.
The writers guild has a leader but few outside the inner circles know who the leader is. This is partly because most members travel all the time. Members can recognise each other through distinctive ink-stains. There is a significant overlap with worshippers of Wallan, but it's not absolute.
The Quill and Pencil often provides importat members a Glasling to aid them in their work.
