Glasling Species in Lost Waves | World Anvil

Glasling

A glasling is a construct that looks like a humanoid made of entirely of glass, rarely wearing clothes. They are used by writers to sharpen their pencils and to pour sand on the wet ink. It is unknown who first created them, and few enchanters learn to build them.   Glaslings can be instructed to eat sand, little rocks, or bugs. The colour of their glass depends on their food with the most common being blue, green or pink/red.   Writers buy glaslings as they would a pet, but the constructs are rarely treated like slaves. Glaslings who wander the Sa'ar Desert without an owner usually ends up being yellow due to the desert rock and sand they eat.
