Oghma
God of Knowledge
Oghma is the greater power of bards, inspiration, invention, and knowledge. He is a strong ally of Gond, who he created. His home is the House of Knowledge located in the Outlands.
Knowledge, particularly the raw knowledge of ideas, is supreme. An idea has no weight, but it can move mountains. The greatest gift of humankind, an idea outweighs anything made by mortal hands. Knowledge is power and must be used with care, but hiding it away from others is never a good thing. Stifle no new ideas, no matter how false and crazed they seem; rather, let them be heard and considered. Never slay a singer, nor stand by as others do so. Spread knowledge wherever it is prudent to do so. Curb and deny falsehoods, rumour, and deceitful tales whenever you encounter them. Write or copy lore of great value at least once a year and give it away. Sponsor and teach bards, scribes, and record keepers. Spread truth and knowledge so that all folk know more. Never deliver a message falsely or incompletely. Teach reading and writing to those who ask (if your time permits), and charge no fee for the teaching.

Personal history
Oghma was created by Shar and Selûne when the two still acted as one. He was there to safeguard what they knew and help them explore new ideas. When the two split, Oghma has tried to remain neutral. However, Selûne's focus on guiding while Shar tries to hide means that he often sides with the former.
Over time, Oghma has acted both as a keeper of secrets and as a dispenser of even forbidden knowledge. This has led to a great deal of confusion within the Church of Knowledge and different branches have different ideas on how much they should tell the rest of the world. But all of them are incredible at gathering information.
Gender Identity
Oghma has been seen in many guises. Some interpreted as female, some as male, some as neither. The only reason for a male pronoun is limitations in language and traditional understanding of gender.
Intellectual Characteristics
Oghma is always calm and seems to have an endless patience for others to learn. He knows that no-one else can know as much as de does and therefore he needs to show understanding.
Social
Contacts & Relations
With close ties to other gods that seek to aid understanding, including Selûne and even Tyche, Oghma still tries to stay neutral and doesn't actively act against those who might stand against his principles.
