Personal history
Istishia was created along with the elements themselves, just like the other primordial. She is part of the element of water and the element is part of her. Along with Akadi, Grumbar, and Kossuth, she brings balance to the physical elements.
Throughout history, cults surrounding her has popped up and faded away. She never paid much attention to them but appreciated their dedication to her element. Her whims ebb and flows, but never remains the way they are for long.
Gender Identity
Istishia has no gender but has traditionally been referred to with female pronouns. She doesn't seem to mind.
Intellectual Characteristics
Whatever the situation, Istishia will adapt. Water finds a way to flow and she will fill whatever space is left. Over time, she can wear down even the most stubborn mountain, any wind will only stir her surface, and she will extinguish any fire. This means that she handles everything with calm and patience.

Contacts & Relations
Both her closest allies and her fiercest competition are the other primordial — especially the elemental ones. She does have some association with the gods, especially Ariel, but is sceptical about anyone who tries to impose too much structure. She's also not very fond of the living things who try to be the masters of her waters.
