Divine Guide

The high priests of Amaunator, powerful wizards who act as viziers and advice the Caliph of the Sh'areen Caliphate. They are also the ones who summon a new Caliph after one has died. With their influential position, even if they aren't supposed to take part in politics themselves, the Guides possess a position of extremely high status. It's wise to stay on the good side of someone who regularly speaks to the Caliph themselves. This also means that when it is possible to not make it look like a bribe, others tend to be very generous towards the guides.
