House Acchus

House Acchus is the ruling family of Ezreich, the capital of the "Civil Kingdoms." The Civil Kingdoms include the Provinces of Ezreich, Caisan, Heliador, and Brahkdor.

The numerous remaining provinces are self-governed, and are listed below. They are not governed by House Acchus in any way.

The Acchus Family rose to power in the early years, in the times of the Ancient Kingdom. The enemies of the Kingdom gathered in the Underdark, united under the great general Grint Acchus. The Ancient Kingdom largely ignored the mountain range to the West, believing only small goblin parties would ever emerge from those caves. Unbeknownst to them, deep within the mountains was a portal to the Underdark. Grint led the armies through the tunnels, and emerged into the heartland of the Kingdom. They found the cities had fallen rather easily, with the only exception being the Old Capital. Grint himself slew the King and claimed his crown, before razing the capital to the ground and starting anew. It was here, that Ezreich was founded.

Grint Acchus

The Founder of Ezreich and destroyer of the Ancient Kingdom. He ruled as King for 300 years, before succumbing to old age. The crown was passed to his son, Growe.

Growe Acchus

The most influential ruler of Ezreich, deceased.

Balse Acchus

The current ruler of Ezreich, a vile schemer of sorts.

Iudex Acchus

The Judge in Ezreich since its founding.

Sarc Acchus

Prince of Ezreich, son of Balse. The circumstances of his death are uncertain, the Necromancer Party takes credit for killing him, but rumor has it one of the traveling adventurers from The Guild of Obscurity may be to blame. The Truth
