Iakor (Ee-Ah-Core)

The ruler of Ridge Valley and the leader of the Valley People, Iakor is a lovely man who was raised to rule.

Personal History

Iakor was born into a rich family, his parents being the leaders of Ridge Valley. From birth, it was inevitable that Iakor would lead the village, so his childhood was spent being molded into the perfect person to rule. From the ages 1 - 8, Iakor attended the very tiny Valley School, where he was taught several subjects of his choice, and a mandatory defence class to protect himself from dangers, mostly dragons.

Iakor didn't have the best teenage years. When he was thirteen, his father was killed by a ridge runner, after holding a conference in the centre of town. This resulted in Iakor becoming very closed off for a few years, up until he was eighteen when he started opening up once again. His mother remained by his side, until she was also killed by a ridge runner when Iakor was nineteen. This left Iakor completely in charge of the town, while he was not prepared in the slightest. Luckily he did have guidance from mentors, so he was not completely alone.

When Iakor turned twenty, he left the village for a week or so, without an explanation. He only returned eight days later, with the head of a ridge runner on his back. After being interrogated, he announced the death of the dragon that had killed his parents.

I have slaid the dragon who murdered my parents. I have now avenged my dear mother and father, and I am now free of all emotions that have held me captive for the past seven years. I am ready to lead this village, and lead it well.

Personality

Iakor is a nice person, after meeting him once he clearly cares about his people. He is strong, passionate, and determined, and that is proven by his ability to control the town and keep it safe, or safer than it used to be.

Aptitudes

Iakor is fantastic under pressure, which makes him a great leader. He was able to control the people of the village in countless dragon attacks, all of them resulting in the least injuries or damage ever seen by Ridge Valley.
Not only is he great under pressure, he has his priorities right too, his people. The people of Ridge Valley are his number one priority, making him an outlier in leaders. If dragons are attacking the village, his priority is to get the people to safety.

Weaknesses

While Iakor is a caring person, he might care too much. He often gets too involved in situations that don't have anything to do with him, shoving himself into the lives of others when it isn't necessary. This happens often from what I've heard, but luckily he is able to admit his faults and he is always forgiven.
