Annuals are holidays that reoccur every year on the same dates.
There aren't many of these as the Vie people have very little need for excuses to party.

Ceremonials

Ceremonials are holidays that comimorate more personal events. Events such as births, deaths, achievements, unions, etc.
These are often much more regional, as different areas find different things worth celebrating.
