Thyphe

The thyphe were a group of priests of the Phydan religions, composed by 10 to 20 Naphilian and were studying unnatural things, be it myths, legends, sighthings or weird places where someone had a bad feeling about it. The group mysteriously disappeared at the start of the The dawn of magic and Naphilian believe that the Thyphe caused The dawn of magic.
The thyphe started as a group of priest that were friends (the exact number has been forgotten) and were always found close by. They were part of the priests responsible to redact all knowledge but always got distracted when they had to redact a case of some unnatural things going on. The rest of the priests care little about that and tend to give them the information of unnatural things to them ratehr than having to spent time in such things themselves. Soon, the group desired to explorate this unnatural sights and events that they had been writing about and started skipping work, without anyone to know, and experimentate things, such as rituals that summoned things, visit places that are supposed to be haunted, and such things. At one point, they officially left the priests and started calling themselves the thyphe.
The thyphe traveled around the north of Emea, going to anyplace that they get a rumour that it catched their attention. They did many things, causing villages to start throw them out of the villages, causing to make grow a bad reputation of them. Their results in all their experiments were kept secret.
50 years ago. The dawn of magic starts by some islands appearing floating in the sky in the north of Emea, nearby where the thyphe were last seen. The thyphe were never seen again. All who knew about the thyphe thought and keep thinking that they caused The dawn of magic, causing the war, causing the real unnatural things that happen because of magic. The thyphes are now an example of why the priests should not stray from their objectives or be left to their things.
