Niksta Material in Iphars | World Anvil

Niksta

Iphars is being reworked! Please bear with me!

The niksta is a metal found it in mines mostly from the *insertcliffname* which has steel-like propieties but it is one of the lightest materials in the world. Naphilian use it for their jeweleries, armours, weapons, etc.

Appareance

The niksta is found in veins of blue crystals, sometimes being difficul to see as the uncleaned version of the niksta is silverish with blue dots. After being cleaned up (aka turned into usable ignots) it is of a icy blue with white reflections.

Usage

The metal itself is not as beautiful as gold or silver but because of its lightness, Naphilian have been using it for their jeweleries and most importantly, their armours and weapons, as it is a strong metal but also allows them to still fly because of how light it is. As it is also a rare metal, Naphilian use it as a jewelery to differenciate the common people from the rich ones.

Sellers

The metal has so far been found in the mines of Tashan and some small random deposits on the bottom of the *insertmountainsname*. As the mountain has failed to give a constant supplement of the niksta in the kind of mines that the Naphilian do and because Tashan refuses to explain how are their mines done, the Naphilian have been forced to buy it from Tashan.
It is one of the most bought products in Tashan, together with construction rock and iron.

History

The niksta has been know of its existance for thousands of years but its sneaky propiety has made that people forget about this niksta. Since Tashan appeared, while most of the people do not care as there are stronger metals, the Naphilian have been really interested in buy it.

Refinement

Naphilian know how to make the metal somewhat refinated but it is still pretty unclean of rests of crystals and rocks, leading it to not be as strong as it could. In Tashan, with the help of magic (not shared with public) has been able to refine it at almost a 99% purity, making it the purest version of the niksta ever done.
