Cornicula

Physical Appearance
A bush with yellow and orange flowers resembling the feet of the Stonechat and Canyon Warblers that nest among them. The blooms that give this bush its name grow in clusters at the ends of the exterior stems, and spread apart from one another. The stems and leaves are rough and spiky, warding off their hosts' larger predators, like Kestrels.
Uses in Industry
Native to the South Downs, Bird's Foot is a hardy and resilient plant. The stems retain their stiffness even after separation from the parent plant, so they are often used by South Brontydd gatherers to weave baskets. The leaves are crushed and brewed into a diuretic tea to help flush poisons from the body.
