Zineva treatment

-I don't know...I don't think I trust 'im. He looks suspicious.
-How does someone even look suspicious? If I get Zineva when I'm older I would want a treatment. Wouldn't you want one for me?
-Mmhm, how much did we have in our hoard again?
-...I suppose he looks a little bit shifty.
August and Zamarca
Zineva is a disease that affects dragons, their memory, and their sense of reality. There have not been any treatments other than herbal remedies and small healing to ease some of the symptoms. Now a human medical professor and doctor accidentally summoned from Earth says that he has found a treatment.

DISCOVERY

The Doctor claims that there is a treatment for a similar disease on Earth and that he has tested a treatment on willing dragons already and found that it works. The dragons who have taken the treatment claim that their decline has stopped completely. A couple of them even claim that all their symptoms have disappeared.

INVENTOR

The Doctor calls himself Rickard J. Smith. He says that he is from New York and that he has several different medical and scientific degrees depending on who is asking. Since very few humans live in Idyll, and even less specifically in Zarinth, they can't verify his identity. They have to take him on his word.

EFFECTS

The treatment of monthly dosages over a period of a year or more of this drug is claimed to slow the progression of the Zineva disease's symptoms. These include all the symptoms listed under the Zineva article. This means that dragons will be able to live with this disease for a lot longer than they do today. Maybe they in the future might even become as old as they once did! At least that is what the Doctor proclaims.   Some common adverse effects reported to their relatives from the dragons who tested it might be;
  • Diarrhea
  • Migraine
  • Neck pain
  • Delirium
  • An inability to shapeshift

  • Many would prefer these symptoms over ones from Zineva though. If the treatment works. Which it supposedly does.
    Availability
The treatment is only available in Zarinth.
    Complexity
The Doctor does not want to disclose any details. Those he do share the details with have signed an NDA.
